It appears that the much-beloved film series “Creed” is going to grace the theaters with another installment. Franchise producer Irwin Winkler recently confirmed the development of Creed 4. Winkler revealed, “We’re planning to do Creed 4 right now… We think we have a really good story, a good plot.” The production faced delays due to the WGA strike, with pre-production set to commence “about a year from now.”

Winkler hinted at Michael B. Jordan returning as the director for Creed 4, stating, “I’m not supposed to say,” but confirming Jordan’s involvement. Sylvester Stallone, absent from Creed III, might not return as Rocky Balboa, as he hinted at concluding the role. Previously, Creed III, directed by Jordan, explored Adonis Creed’s journey as he faced challenges in and out of the boxing ring. Moreover, the film, released in March, delves into themes of identity, success, and family dynamics.

Reflecting on his directorial debut, Jordan explained, “For me, it felt like who else was gonna be able to direct me in something that I felt like I’ve lived?”. As for the details surrounding the plot and returning characters, as of now remain undisclosed.
