After Chris Eubank Jr.’s rematch with Liam Smith, Eubank’s trainer Brian McIntyre was arrested at Manchester Airport for the possession of an unlicensed firearm. According to the statement released by the Greater Manchester Police, on the 3rd of September, “a possible firearm” was located “in hold luggage” by the official staff at the Manchester Airport.
In no time, ‘BoMac’, identified as “a 53-year-old man,” “was arrested for possession of a firearm and was taken to custody for further questioning”. In this context, it is worth mentioning that since Eubank Jr.’s former trainer Roy Jones Jr. “had other fighters and obligations,” the 33-year-old hired ‘BoMac’ in August this year. With McIntyre by his side, Eubank Jr. even declared that it was “refreshing to have a new perspective“. In ‘BoMac’, he saw the “sign of a great coach” and subsequently looked forward to seeing how things worked out ahead of the $35 Million fight.
