So in a recent interview with InsideFighting, Derrick James talked about how Spence Jr. held up against the loss. He stated that winning and losing remain part of life. Some days you don’t win. Then the reporter asked James about the rematch between Spence Jr. and Crawford.
James said, “Yeah, I think so.” Then, he replied whether Spence Jr. could defeat Crawford in the second attempt. James uttered, “I know he’ll be [victorious]…different, different situation, different weight…” Moreover, James commented on Spence Jr. looking a bit off his game to many fans. He said he looked distracted, but that doesn’t take the credit away from Crawford’s win.
