It appears that boxing sensation Ryan Garcia is finally prepared to make a comeback after the previous devastating victory of his career. Moreover, he is going to fight against the Mexican boxer Oscar Duarte. The fight will be held at the Toyota Center, Texas on December 2. Despite his participation in the top-selling pay-per-view event of 2023 against Gervonta Davis, Garcia’s upcoming match will not be offered on pay-per-view. Instead, it will be a standard DAZN event. For this reason, a lot of fans even took a dig at De La Hoya calling Garcia the “PPV King”.

Recently, Garcia and Duarte had their initial face-off as the press conference for the fight took place. DAZN released a video footage of the encounter, announcing the event: “GET READY HOUSTON. Watch the return of Ryan Garcia, Dec. 2 on DAZN @RyanGarcia | @GoldenBoyBoxing | #GarciaDuarte”. Moreover, Oscar De La Hoya also clarified the reason for Garcia’s match against Oscar Duarte. He stated, “Well he has a champion’s attitude. That’s exactly what he has. A lot of people in the boxing industry were very surprised because Oscar Duarte is coming off an 11-fight knockout streak.”

De La Hoya claimed that Garcia is “very confident” for the upcoming match-up and that he can’t wait to “showcase” the result of all the hard work with his new trainer Derrick James. The video of the two boxers facing off also surfaced on YouTube where it instantly gained the attention of fans.
