While Canelo Alvarez Under Hot Waters for John Ryder Fight, Oscar De La Hoya Hits the Final Nail on Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. Comparison

Meditating on this fight, thus, Oscar De La Hoya said, “Nobody will ever be @Jcchavez115 [the Twitter handle of Julio Chavez Sr.]“.

Anyway, Chavez Sr. himself once declared that Alvarez would not match him. In this connection, it is worth mentioning Alvarez’s statements from an old interview with Michelle Phelps where the former was asked to offer his thoughts on comments made by Chavez Sr. “I really don’t want to be like anybody. I want to make my own story. When this is all over when I retire, the numbers will tell my story,” said Canelo Alvarez.
