Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji, or more popularly, KSI, won a bout against Luis Pineda by a split division. The second win in the year has made fans and critics a bit more cautious about KSI taking up a professional boxer’s mantle.

As much as his younger brother Deji’s bout against Floyd Mayweather is ruling the coverages, KSI’s next fight thus far has remained a shot in the dark.

In September, KSI raised fans’ expectations when he announced that the next fight would take place in the US. However, when asked the lucky one who would go against him, he threw it back to the fans for a few suggestions.

KSI to Lock Horns With…….

The former UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley was ‘The Chosen One’ first. But Woodley’s sally into the squared circle failed to live up to expectations. Twice beaten by Jake Paul, whether Woodley can fight off the man who defeated the former’s elder brother remains a question.

Next to fall in line was Conor McGregor‘s training mate, Dillon Danis. A Black-Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the American’s MMA record stands at two wins against nil losses.

The third and seemingly more permissible option was fellow YouTuber Slim Albaher from the US. On the day when KSI had beaten two boxers back-to-back, Slim faced off against professional esports champion FaZe Temperrr.

Last but certainly not least was Mikhail Varshavski or Doctor Mike. He is an internet celebrity of Russian origin who lost the first professional bout against Chris Avila on the undercard of the Jake Paul – Anderson Silva fight.

When questioned on the possibilities of Andrew Tate and Tommy Fury, KSI replied, “Tommy Fury can’t fight in America (That’s where the next event is), and Andrew Tate is too heavy for me.”

But a new variable in the equation may yield an altogether different outcome. Jake Paul and KSI have been exchanging polemics for some time. The latter has not hidden his displeasure over the junior Paul cherry-picking his boxing matches to all appearances.

But a tweet from KSI’s manager, Mams Taylor, caught everyone off guard. He stated, “KSI v Jake Paul WILL be happening in 2023.”

The question of KSI’s upcoming schedule sits on the fence. A leaked news article mentioned him fighting Nate Diaz! As Logan Paul confirmed his return to boxing, the possibility for KSI – Logan trilogy also hangs in the air.
