‘Why Would He Go Back to Romania if He’s Guilty?’: Andrew Tate’s Friend Makes a Bold Claim

It’s common knowledge that former kickboxer and internet sensation Andrew Tate has had a significant impact worldwide. But there’s a fresh twist to his saga. Authorities arrested the controversial British-American internet provocateur during an investigation into allegations of human trafficking and sexual assault. Taken into custody, along with his brother Tristan from their Bucharest home, a police spokesperson later confirmed the duo’s detention.

Prosecutors have asked to put the internet celebrity in a ‘detention center’ for another 30 days, according to the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT). A spokesperson for Tate said they were unable to comment any further. But, according to him, “However, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can.” The particular charges against Tate have not been made public at this time. Nonetheless, it appears that another battle is underway on social media in support of Andrew Tate. Thousands of avid fans have already made up their minds.

Tate’s supporters used hashtags #freetopG and #tateinnocent on TikTok and Twitter to express their belief that his accusations are false. Now, one of Andrew Tate’s long-time friends, Tam Khan, has gone online to share his views on the allegations. Former mixed martial arts professional, England-born Tam Khan, is a businessman. Per Sherdog, his MMA record stands at six wins against three losses. However, when it comes to acting, he received recognition for his part in the film Vanguard (2020).

He started by narrating his association with Andrew Tate and said, “I do not believe anything which has been accused of him yes let me tell you one thing right now unless you give me video and they produce video proof of him kidnapping and harming a female then I’ll put my hands up and say he’s wrong he’s guilty and have nothing to do with him but anything else I will never accept…”

Refusing to subscribe to any witness statement, he confirmed mistrusting the system. “I believe they’re all out to get him.” Tam insisted that he would not accept any rumors until he came across solid proof since he knew Andrew Tate well. The former MMA fighter then spoke about Andrew’s generous nature. His selfless care for children in need and contributions to a local charity.

Adding further, he said, “Look you don’t like to support him he’d have to like him…but please there’s a difference between hating someone’s speech or what they’re standing for and accusing them of such a heinous crime and something so bad I’m telling you why would he go back to Romania if he’s guilty of anything surely he’s too smart though if he’s really done a crime like you won’t even go back to that country number one.”
