Dillon Danis and Logan Paul are all set to settle all their differences and resentment between each other through the might of their fists as they are going to fight on October 14th under the KSI vs. Tommy Fury main card. However, the hype for the bout which is only a week away, is unprecedented because of Danis’ continuous trolling of Nina Agdal who is Paul’s fiancée. Danis somehow managed to get under Paul’s skin, thus fans are interested to see the bout that will ensue when these two come face to face.

However, the lead-up to the fight hasn’t been without its share of ups and downs. Recently, the fans were left concerned about the fight as Danis announced he would back off, though he did later clarify that he is going to fight after a huge backlash online. Moreover, he has called out Paul multiple times for allegedly being on steroids. He went as far as calling him a “Juicehead.” Fighters usually go through several doping tests leading up to fights in order to maintain the integrity and fairness of the sport. Recently KSI’s manager and Misfits Boxing promoter Mams Taylor, confirmed the news that both Paul and Danis will be tested for steroids. Danis has been pointing fingers at Paul for not agreeing to get drug tested. This is a little off-putting as KSI and Tommy Fury have already been tested and got negative results from VADA. Moreover, it is said that they will be tested regularly ahead of their fight. However, this is not the case with their co-headliners.

But Taylor while speaking to the Mirror, stated that the duo will go through Misfits Boxing’s standard tests. However, they will not be undergoing VADA or USADA tests that Danis has been talking about. Taylor stated that they would be undergoing tests administered by the PBA, which he called a “regular test” that other fighters undergo as well. He added, “We’re not there yet where every fight can put half our budget into testing so when we do get there as we grow, we know.” Taylor pointed out how influencer boxer Viruzz got caught by PBC and was “punished accordingly”.

Speaking on the testing, Danis still remains unsatisfied as it is much less stringent than one done by VADA or USADA. He pointed out to the MMA Hour, “The reason USADA and VADA are so effective is that during camp they do random times.” Moreover, he added, “So you don’t know when it’s coming and that’s why it’s hard to beat those tests. You still can, but it’s very hard.” He claimed that Paul wanted to do the test on a “set date before the fight.”

He stated that the influencer has already done his cycle and would use the p** test to prove himself clean. Moreover, he stated that “it doesn’t count.” According to Danis, the co-owner of PRIME Hydration has enough money that he could have a “doctor clean his system in 24 hours”. He called Paul taking the test “another scam” by the YouTuber. Furthermore, he called him a “bulls*** artist” and stated that he “just lies.” The concern of ‘El Jefe’ is understandable, however, it seems like he will have to do the PBC test as other tests are not financially viable for the promotions.

The Bellator fighter has been calling out the YouTuber-turned-boxer on the issue of steroid use for a while now. Moreover, the difference between their physiques is also nothing to scoff at. It is one of the reasons why Danis is considered the underdog in the fight. Danis even shared their side-by-side pictures on social media, highlighting the stark difference between the two. During a conversation with Adin Ross, he stated, “He’s not a good fighter, he’s a single-shot fighter. He’s on steroids, he’s on EPO. I don’t know what the f**k he’s on.”

However, Logan Paul has been incessantly refusing all doping accusations of his rival. During his appearance on comedian Andrew Schulz’s podcast ‘Flagrant’, he boldly claimed that his physique is the result of his long intense training. Paul claimed to have told Danis that he would do the USADA test, however, the MMA fighter would have to then take an “STD test” and the result would be in the public domain. He added that Danis laughed at him, pointing out that he won’t do the test. Furthermore, he claimed, “I’ve had this physique – I’m in good shape, this isn’t some unaccomplishable thing if you work out six [days a week].”
