Boxing fans all over the world are getting excited as women’s boxing continues to gain popularity. Terri Harper is set to defend her Super-Welterweight against Cecilia Braekhus. Cecilia who once ranked as the world’s top pound-for-pound boxer will surely be giving her the fight to remember. The fight will be held on May 20th, as part of the undercard for Katie Taylor‘s significant match against Chantelle Cameron. Although it was Amanda Serrano that should have been fighting Katie, that didn’t happen to the dismay of fans. Because of this, fans showed a mixed reaction to the news of her fight against Chantelle Cameron.

Terri Harper will be facing Braekhus who has her eyes set on becoming the champion in two divisions once again. Cecilia Breakhus had defended her two titles for a decade previously. She stands at the pinnacle of women’s boxing. Dans have been looking forward to the fight with great anticipation. And the same goes for the fighters too who must be looking forward to finally battling it out in the ring.

Recently, boxing reporter Micheal Benson posted news regarding the fight’s announcement. He posted, “Announced: Terri Harper will defend her WBA super-welterweight world title vs Cecilia Braekhus on the undercard of Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron, May 20th in Dublin, Ireland”. This news left fans excited about the fight, they went wild over it.

Fans are thrilled about the event and the prominence of women in boxing. Twitter user frak fazal summed up the feeling of many fans when they said, “Women boxing is taking over.

Another fan, New Year, Same B shared his excitement about the upcoming fight on the card. He said that it was going to be an amazing fight on an already great card.

𝔾𝕒𝕞𝕖_ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕕 wrote his desires for Campbell Hatton and Shannon Cuntenay on the undercard. He claimed that with that in the addition, it will become a ‘monster card’.

However, not all fans are happy with the news. Twitter user Simon expressed his disappointment with the card.
