WOW! Canelo Alvarez and F1 Champion Max Verstappen Meet Each Other in Miami

Both Canelo Alvarez and Max Verstappen had memorable campaigns in 2021 in their respective sports. While Alvarez won three fights to become the maiden undisputed super middleweight world champion, Verstappen won his maiden F1 championship.

Ahead of their 2022 returns, both stars were partying in Miami when they bumped into each other. Canelo Alvarez and Max Verstappen posed with each other and their picture may have sent several fans into a frenzy.

The P4P king was wearing a matching pair of blue shirt and trousers; Max Verstappen donned a pair of shorts and a white t-shirt. Both men flaunted their smiles as they were captured with each other.

Interestingly, both men got nominated for the BBC’s World Sport Star Award this year, which Rachel Blackmore won.

While 2021 was a thriller of a season for Verstappen, the Red Bull driver highlighted that he doesn’t need to have seasons like last year every single time. (H/T:-DailyMail)

In an interaction with CarNext, Max Verstappen said, ‘For me, it doesn’t need to be like this every single year. I don’t think you can last a long time in F1 like that.’

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Canelo Alvarez is charting his course to achieve more success in 2022. Already a four-division world champion, Alvarez is planning to make it five and secure his spot on the all-time G.OA.T. list.

Can Canelo Alvarez shift divisions next?

Having conquered the 168 lbs division, Alvarez may move up to 175 lbs or 200 lbs in the coming days. He has already tasted gold at light heavyweight, but can plan to become an undisputed champion over there. Meanwhile, WBC has cleared Ilunga Makabu to defend his title against Canelo Alvarez.
