Former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis was supposed to revive his lackluster combat sports career in 2023. He was also set to make his boxing debut as well against YouTuber turned-boxer KSI at the Misfits 004 boxing event this month. However, Danis pulled out of the fight just weeks before the bout, forcing KSI to change his opponent at the last minute. Instead, the British social media star took on Faze Temperrr knocking him out in the first round.

The Jiu-Jitsu ace pulling out of the fight was met with widespread criticism from fans who felt Danis was ducking an inferior opponent. Moreover, his already fragile reputation came crashing down after this as even those who believed in his skill started questioning his dedication to fighting professionally. Despite this, it seems Danis is not yet over ‘The Nightmare’ after he came out with another jab aimed at him.

Danis took to Twitter where he posted a photo of a coffee cup being hurled at KSI. This moment came from a press conference leading up to the fight where Danis slapped KSI and tried to throw coffee at him before everything descended into chaos. He also had a few words for the British YouTuber who he still holds some animosity. “Forever my b**ch,” he wrote tagging KSI in the tweet.

Fans slam Dillon Danis’s post mocking KSI

One fan stated that despite all his antics Danis was the one who garnered the most damage after the conference.

Another fan wanted to be part of the downfall which Danis had brought upon himself according to the fan.

A fan even called him a ‘coward’ and insisted that he should not be allowed to computer professionally again.

A fan also stated that Danis didn’t even manage to hit KSI with the coffee cup.

Lastly, one fan called out Danis and tried to give him a brutal reality check. Moreover, he was disappointed that Danis would not even fight a YouTube boxer.

The fans were quick to lash out at Danis as his stock in the combat sports world declined. Even Jiu-Jitsu athletes like Gordan Ryan have come out and exposed Danis’ credentials as a fighter and how much of his success is based on clout. However, it seems that things are finally starting to fall apart for Conor McGregor’s former teammate.

Many believe that if Danis wants to get back into relevancy he needs to pick up an opponent in any martial art he chooses rather than calling out YouTubers online. Moreover, the responses from fans should serve as a check for him and make him realize that this won’t benefit him anymore.
