George Kambosos Jr. will enter the boxing ring for the biggest fight of his career later this year. He will confront the lightweight kingpin, Teofimo Lopez, in a 12-round war for a mandatory title defense fight. In fact, the ‘Takeover’s father and trainer, Teofimo Lopez Sr. asserted that his son would finish Kambosos Jr. in a mere three rounds of the fight. This statement reached the challenger, Kambosos Jr.

“Regular talks, talks too much. You know, we all know what he’s like, every single person in boxing knows how big of a mouth he has,”
“To be honest, we saw the Lomachenko fight. Your son is pretty much a six-round fighter. And luckily Lomachenko didn’t turn it up, but I’m focused on what I gotta do,” said Kambosos Jr.
‘Ferocious’ took a dig at Lopez Sr. and stated that they can prepare for a three-round fight. Furthermore, he declared that he would prepare for an absolute 12-round tussle.
The official dates and location for this fight aren’t disclosed yet. But both Lopez and Kambosos Jr. have begun trading verbal punches with each other. This will have excited fans who want to see them trade punches within the ropes.
