The NFC heat is on. A tight match-up between an established force in the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions, which is riding high on postseason performance, has the fans on the edge of their seats. It seems boxing stars Terence Crawford and Ryan Garcia are no different.

The 49ers welcome the Lions on Sunday in what is their record 19th conference championship game appearance. Meanwhile, the Lions are marking their second title game since the Super Bowl era and the first since the 1991 season. Therefore, the critical matchup has David vs. Goliath written all over it, and ‘Bud’ and ‘KingRy’ have already decided whom to show their support to.

How the 49ers’ run defense holds up against the attack of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery would decide the match. While Ryan Garcia was ready to support the attacking front of Gibbs and Montgomery, Terence Crawford had faith in the 49ers’ defense.

Garcia turned to his X-handle and anticipated the Lions’ victory. He wrote, “Detroit is going to win.”

Following this, he also had a bold prediction of the Lions handing the 49ers a sound beating. He penned, “On top of it Detroit will blow out the San Fran.” On the other hand, Crawford was upbeat about supporting the 49ers. He said, “Let’s go Lions!!!”

In the other playoff match, the Kansas City Chiefs edged out the Baltimore Ravens with a 17-10 scoreline. They have secured their berth in the Super Bowl game and will await the winner of the Lions vs. 49ers. While the NFL action reaches a tipping point, Garcia is undergoing turmoil.

Garcia’s recent debacle

The American fighter, after a KO win over Oscar Duarte, is on the lookout for an opponent for his next fight. However, he has failed to bag a signature despite screening through multiple foes. He flirted with the idea of a championship fight with Devin Haney, only to leave him mid-negotiation.

The California native then pursued a fight with Rolando Romero and Isaac Cruz. That also didn’t turn out as he wanted. Later, the two decided to meet in the square circle instead of Garcia. Both time and names are running out for Garcia right now.
