And it’s heartbreak for the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens succumbed to the Kansas City Chiefs with a close scoreline of 10-17 and crashed out of the race for the Super Bowl. Angony, frustration, and tears swamped the Ravens, and there was one man who watched it closely: Roy Jones Jr.

The boxing legend was in the stands to witness and support the Baltimore Ravens in their critical AFC championship game. While he didn’t get the outcome he desired, he was grateful for the hospitality shown by the Ravens. The Ravens might have fallen short of their Super Bowl dream, but they filled the boxing legend’s heart with content.

The former champion turned to his Instagram handle and extended a token of thanks to the Ravens and Odell Beckham Jr. He posted a picture of him standing in the M&T Bank Stadium and soaking up the high-tension atmosphere. Jones Jr. wrote, “AFC Championship today in Baltimore! Thanks to @obj and the @ravens for the hospitality.

Some fans might not be aware, but Roy Jones Jr. is a huge Steelers fan. Besides sparring and giving advice to young boxers, he once stopped by the Pittsburgh Steelers and watched them practice.

Moreover, Odell Beckham Jr. is also going viral for his gesture in a clip. He is seen comforting Lamar Jackson. as the latter throws his helmet in frustration after the heartbreak. On the other hand, the Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl final for the fourth time in the last five seasons, despite being labeled as underdogs. When asked again about their underdog tag, Patrick Mahomes gave a candid answer.

“Yeah, it’s been a heck of a year. We’ve been underdogs for the last few games. We never feel like the underdogs,” Mahomes announced. In addition, coach Andy Reid has shared some significant insights that led to their victory and emphasized their team’s attack.

“I thought we did a great job. That’s an explosive offense… So when you come in with that, you keep that quarterback somewhat in the pocket, the best you can, and he’s an unbelievable competitor. So I think our linebackers did a good job,” Reid explained. They will now await the winner of the Lions vs. 49ers.
