Floyd Mayweather is sort of a fashion icon. However, while his fans have widely welcomed his sartorial fashion choices, some have also assumed the role of fashion police, giving that much-needed reality check to the formal welterweight champion. This time around, seeking the validation of his fans for his outfit, the boxer was joined by a long-time pal.

Antonio Brown and ‘Pretty Boy’ have a long-standing history. This relationship has been recorded multiple times in the headlines. For instance, last year, the world turned its back on ‘AB’ for his controversial life choices like ditching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, not paying child support, and even his ownership jolts of the Albany Empire. However, one friend remained true through it all. Mayweather. The boxer bet his $20 million on any team that signed the NFL player. If the AB sustained in the entire season, the team would have to pay up, else, Mayweather would front the bills. In the latest display of their closeness, a photo has been making rounds of the internet.

On his X, formerly Twitter, 35-year-old, Antonio Brown posted an image dated: “2/5/18,” that features him with his boxer pal, Floyd Mayweather. In the image, amidst a bustling crowd at a gathering, both sports personalities can be seen decked in their signature outfits. AB wears a light blue, notch-lapel, suit, with black details. He finishes off the look with a black bow, synchronizing it with the entire styling effort. Pretty Boy, on the other hand, wears a brown ensemble, with fitted trousers, long cowboy boots, and an atypical jacket. He stitches the look together with a brown hat with red lining. Speak of attention to detail, right?

These images, along with Mayweather’s show of support for the ex-NFL fame, come in the wake of reports suggesting a sudden downfall in their relationship. In late 2022, the duo were seen hanging out with each other. On the exit, a media person asked to click an image of them together. However, Mayweather, perhaps in jest, asked the person with the lens to just snap him. Taking to then-called Twitter, AB clapped back at the combat fame. “Guess boxers not used sharing attention per source,” remarked AB.

The new image has provoked the Internet community to not just switch on their fashion-police sirens but also put on their critical spectacles.

Here comes the fashion police!

One user thought both AB and Mayweather looked like jive turkeys, a slang term or a phrase that is associated with 1970s culture, which means someone that is a fool or an idiot.

Another fan invoked the lingo that AB made famous, “Cracker.” For a while now, the word has been frequently used by the Footballer-turned-rapper, especially in a famous altercation with his boss, Mike Mayock, a few years ago.

Another user came in with another peak at Mayweather’s history. Not long ago, 50 Cent who was feuding with Mayweather, called out the boxer and publicly challenged him to read one page of a Harry Potter book in return for a donation of $750,000 to any charity of Mayweather’s choice. However, Mayweather never responded to the callout. This is what the fan decided to highlight.

Another fan was all praises for Mayweather and AB.

A safari-inspired outfit? Well, that’s what fans thought it was for Mayweather’s outfit.
