Israel Adesanya scored an outstanding knockout victory five months ago over Alex Pereira, making a dream return. But today, it just wasn’t his night. Delivering one of the biggest upsets, Sean Strickland defeated Adesanya unanimously. According to several accounts, the latter appeared removed in Sydney, unlike his usual self. Many fans were still recovering from the shock when they came across a side plot: Jake Paul reaching out to ‘The Last Stylebender’ with a coup de grâce offer.
