Jake Paul has time and time again criticized the UFC for its fighter’s pay. Often he has voiced his thoughts in public about how unfairly the UFC treats its fighters. Recently, UFC fighter Tony Ferguson made a claim when talked about being underpaid in the UFC. Before Ferguson, it was Francis Ngannou who raised a synonymous voice. Even UFC champion Israel Adesanya on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson talked about the issue.

During an episode of the Impaulsive Podcast, Jake Paul discussed the matter with his elder brother, Logan Paul. The following is what he had said:

“This is the most important thing that I think we need me and you [Logan Paul], yeah, we need to drive it down everyone’s throats. Mainly, Dana White, and mainly the promoters. Because it is the most unfair thing, and I’ve been talking about it for quite some time now. Even since before the Ben Askren fight.”

“And I just don‘t understand it. And I see how much work these fighters have to put in. And how hard this sport is and how unforgiving it is. You are only as good as your last fight. And Dana White’s like if you lose sorry buddy like you’re still signed all these fights and I can pay you $15000. It’s like working for clout. It’s hard,” he added.

He wrote, “- 46% happens when u don’t treat employees/ fighters fairly. I invested in EDR / UFC in January. Things r getting worse unless there’s change. UFC fighters have never been more powerful, to band together & not fight. It will CRUSH the stock & force UFC to treat fighters betr.”

Paul rings a bell of alarm there. Indeed, one should get paid what one deserves.

Jake Paul recently made history promoting Amanda Serrano. His Most Valuable Promotions have indeed received a promising start. But with his alarming messages, does The Problem Child mean to sign some UFC fighters to his own Promotions?
