The online debacle between Tyson Fury and Jon Jones has garnered a lot of attention all across combat sports fans lately. It all started when Joe Rogan had the famous comedian Andrew Schulz on his podcast, Joe Rogan Experience, and he talked about how he’d have all his money on Jones if he was trapped inside a room with Tyson Fury. This poked Fury in the wrong way, and he came out saying that he’d obliterate Jon Jones in a boxing fight. Now, Dana White has broken his silence on the matter, and recently during the UFC Vegas 74 post-fight press conference, he called out Fury for an MMA fight.
White said that he’d like to end the debate of who’s the actual baddest man on the planet. For that, he said, “I’m telling Tyson Fury, who I respect very much if you really want to find out who the baddest man on the planet is, I will make that fight.” He stated that they figured out the payment with Floyd Mayweather when he fought Conor McGregor. They can easily figure out how to pay Fury as well. Many fans had different opinions regarding this offer.

Fans respond to Dana White’s new offer to Tyson Fury
So, the UFC’s president has himself made an offer to Fury to step inside the Octagon and prove his might. Now this was opposed by many combat sports fans, as they deemed it to be useless. Let’s delve into some comments from the Twitter post made by the renowned boxing reporter.
One of the fans, Usman, stated that there is no way Dana would be able to afford Fury when he’s out there demanding $100 million for the Oleksandr Usyk fight.
…Fury is out here asking for $100M+ for a fight with Usyk, no way Dana can afford half of that

Paul pointed out that this is nothing but a waste of time. As boxing and MMA both are different sports, the fan further elaborated that one wouldn’t want to expect LeBron James, Roger Federer, or Tiger Woods to play in the NFL.
Just asking for trouble here.
You wouldn't get Lebron James, Roger Federer or Tiger Woods to play in NFL, why make a boxer fight MMA.
Its a completely different sport.

Another fan, Sweet Pugilism, called out the irony of Dana as he couldn’t make Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou happen, in the span of three years.
You had 3 years to crown the baddest man on the planet between Ngannou and Jones and you let that slip.. pic.twitter.com/Bc4CKwEQRt

One fan, Jamie Ellison, stated that Fury would demolish Jones in a boxing fight.

While Jones would do the same to Fury in the MMA, so this is all useless.
Fury absolutely destroys Jones in a boxing match, Jones absolutely Mullers Fury in the octagon. What’s the point.

Gorilla shared the same sentiment as the previous comment, but the user also added that it would still be exciting to witness if it happens, nonetheless.
Fury won't accept that fight as we already know the outcome in the octagon. JBJ wouldn't accept a fight in the ring either as we already know the outcome of that fight.
I'd still love to see it though.
