Jake Paul sent shockwaves throughout the combat sports world when he knocked Tyron Woodley out cold in their rematch in 2021. The result spread like wildfire and many soon raised suspicions of foul play. Despite a few years down the line, the rumors and speculations persist. It seems they have only gained strength when a man claiming to be the former UFC champion’s cousin dished out a jaw-dropping claim in a hilarious clip.

Terrell Owens holding Dude Wipes XL

The video, which is making the rounds on the internet, features an interview where fans are asked for their opinions on the coming Mike Tyson‘s fight with ‘The Problem Child’. However, one particular fan, in a comical way, falls behind Paul, 27, to bag the win. The reason? The chances of some dirty deeds.

The man, claiming to be Julian Woodley and ‘The Chosen One’s cousin, declared, “If it’s paid off, Jake Paul. If not, Mike Tyson is gonna knock him out… Tyron Woodley is my literally f***ing cousin. My name is Julian Woodley. So I know for a fact, that m********r got paid to take the knock.”

However, these claims come with no hard evidence and could most probably be an amusing take on the particular fan’s part and a made-up scenario. Interestingly, Woodley, 42, has categorically denied such accusations in the past. In a conversation with ‘Rampage’ Jackson in December last year, he admitted, “You have to know me to know I’m too solid of a guy even to have someone walk to me and ask me. What happened to me was what would happen to him if I dropped those hands.”

Therefore, contrary to the concerned fan’s claim with a funny undertone, Paul, at 10-1, appears to be in the clear. The American fighter is currently busy preparing for his fight with ‘Iron Mike,’ who is training hard to bridge the fitness gap between the two.

Mike Tyson reveals his training regime for the Jake Paul fight

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Tyson, 58, disclosed he was spending 6 hours in the gym to prepare for his professional return to the boxing ring after almost two decades. He said, “I am training extremely hard. I do six hours a day. I start at 11am and might leave the gym at 5pm.”

The fight has received flak for the lopsided matchup and the age difference between the two fighters. Not to mention the recent health struggles of the former world heavyweight champion. Hence, the contest’s result will depend on how well Tyson copes with the youth and energy of Paul while he tries to land his powerful shots.
