Manny Pacquiao faced a major financial setback as he lost almost $8 million against Paradigm Sports, the agency that’s associated with the UFC legend, Conor McGregor. Paradigm Sports revealed that the ‘PacMan’ had breached a contract with them, as they were all ready to set up a fight with Mikey Garcia. But the fight couldn’t happen, and as a result, Garcia left Paradigm Sports. So, McGregor’s agency was looking to redeem their damages and filed a lawsuit for approximately $20 million against the former 8-division boxing champion.
Later, they won the case on May 3rd, 2023 and Pacquiao got slammed with a $8 million legal loss. Now this was definitely a financial strain for the whole family, but there are things more important than money.
Pacquiao’s son Michael Pacquiao, in a recent interview, has come forward and stated that sometimes ‘money’ cannot solve every problem in a person’s life. He revealed the time when he was struggling through the depression, and all of his father’s money wasn’t of much help at that time.
