Jake Paul was recently confronted by Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the former tried to leave the stadium after the Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game. According to Paul, some “50 dudes” along with ‘TBE’ tried to stop him as he looked to exit. Fortunately, no one received any injuries and Paul left before the incident went out of hand. Later, ‘The Problem Child’ narrated the incident on Instagram informing people what Mayweather tried to do to him.

Following the incident, UFC veteran Chael Sonnen condemned Floyd Mayweather who allegedly tried to attack Jake Paul with others accompanying him. Sonnen believes what Mayweather did is highly problematic. According to Sonnen, it is a crime that Mayweather has committed knowingly or unknowingly. “There’s all sorts of problems with it. First off, it is Floyd and it is people with him. This is a crime, this is disgusting, and this is cowardly what they did,” said Sonnen on his YouTube channel condemning ‘TBE’.

Jake Paul on being confronted by Floyd Mayweather and “50” other people

Jake Paul, first publicly engaged in an altercation with Mayweather when he stole the latter’s hat during the making of ‘TBE’ vs. ‘The Maverick’. According to Paul, Mayweather is still “mad” about the ‘Gotcha hat’ incident that took place in 2021 as his elder brother Logan Paul prepared to face Mayweather. As reported by TMZ, Paul, in his statement said, “So I’m leaving the Miami Heat game and Floyd Mayweather and 50 dudes pull up out of nowhere, out of like some side alley, waiting for me outside the stadium, and they’re like, ‘So what’s up? what’s all that talk now?”

Paul believes he was smart enough to not start a fight with 50 people who accompanied ‘Money’. “I’m not f**king dumb. I’m not gonna sit there and try to fight 50 dudes,” he added by saying. Recently, Paul shared the ring with Tommy Fury and received his first-ever defeat in boxing. Currently, he is preparing himself for his rematch against Fury.
