Boxing World Excited as Muhammad Ali’s Grandson Makes Jaw-Dropping Revelation Ahead of Next Fight

Undefeated boxer and the grandson of ‘The Greatest’ Muhammad Ali, Nico Ali Walsh recently took his Instagram by storm by sharing his pictures with the former unified light heavyweight champion, Andre Ward. Recently, there was news regarding Ali Walsh potentially fighting on the undercard of Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Devin Haney. Ahead of his next potential bout, boxing fans were more than excited to have spotted Ali Walsh and Andre Ward in the same frame.

On 3rd February 2023, Ali Walsh fought his last fight as he squared off against Eduardo Ayala at the Desert Diamond Arena for 6 rounds. As of now, Ali Walsh has had a total of eight bouts. Out of the eight fights he has fought, five he has won by way of knockout. Although it is not confirmed whether or not Ali Walsh will fight on the undercard of Loma vs. Haney, fans are hopeful to see Ali Walsh return on the 20th of May.

With a UD win against Sergey Kovalev in 2016, Andre Ward became the unified light heavyweight champion of the world. In 2017, the duo fought each other in a rematch and Ward knocked out Kovalev in the 8th round of the fight. Ali Walsh, who made his PFL debut last year, shook his fanbase by sharing photos with much-admired ‘SOG’.  In one photo, Ali Walsh and Ward were in fighting stances, studying the trajectory of punches and body movements. In the same vein, another eager to see Ali Walsh return to the ring said, “When’s the next fight brother?” Meanwhile, one user expressed his excitement by saying, “Love seeing you with the SOG!!!” On the other hand, a fan commented by saying, “I’m annoyed they don’t have you on any betting sites for your next fight.” Finally, Andre Ward himself commented by saying, “CHAMP.”
