BREAKING: UFC 244 Main Event Called Off as Nate Diaz Gets Accused of Doping

UFC 244 was supposed to feature the most anticipated fight on the year. The main event at MSG would have showcased a fight between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal for the Baddest Motherf****r title. 

After his much-awaited UFC return, Nate Diaz called out Jorge Masvidal to a fight which got the entire MMA world excited. However, Nate Diaz took it to twitter to announce that the fight has been called off. Nate Diaz claimed that he has failed a drug test and hence won’t be competing in UFC 244.

Diaz shared a picture earlier explaining the whole situation surrounding the doping accusations.

“I am not gonna make it out to NYC for fight week next week because they say I tested with elevated levels that they say might be from some tainted supplements. Until UFC, Usada or whoever is FU***G with me Fixes it, I won’t be competing.”

Although UFC advised Nate Diaz to keep quiet about this whole situation, Diaz denies doing the same as he wants to get to the bottom of the whole controversy.

“I am not gonna play their game and try and hide it or keep quiet, as they suggested. I don’t give a fuck about some money over my dignity and my legacy. I am not playing along with this bullshit. I am not staying quiet and figuring it out after the fight. That’s cheating.”

Well although UFC has not released any statement regarding this whole situation, it’s safe to assume the that main event in UFC 244 is in jeopardy.

update: Jorge Masvidal supporst Nate Diaz in the whole doping controversy and says he will still fight Diaz.

Masvidal said :

““You not the baddest mofo in the game (i am) but you are one of the cleanest mofo’s. I’ll see you nov 2. I know your name is clean. I don’t need USADA to tell me shit!“”
