The transition of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War into Warzone has been relatively smooth for Activision. Players have now adapted to the new weapons in the game and are slowly getting accustomed to its mechanics as well. However, the age-old problem of introducing new guns that are overpowered still persists. Now, according to several reports, Warzone is getting yet another map that will possibly arrive with the next update.
Recently, Warzone got a new map called ‘Rebirth Island’ in the Season 1 update for Black Ops Cold War. This map drew inspiration from the Alcatraz map but is also a little different. It was more like an extension of Alcatraz, which has its own separate identity. Now, reports suggest that a new map is on the cards and it was right under the players’ noses.

Popular Call of Duty YouTuber ‘TheGamingRevolution’ recently explained this in a video. He mentions that the Fireteam maps from Black Ops Cold War are the locations of the upcoming map in Warzone. This makes sense considering the Fireteam mode even has snow-clad regions, which was always rumored to be a part of the new Warzone map sometime in the future.
