Call of Duty Mobile Releases Final Camo and Announces Another

Call of Duty Mobile Anniversary Season is just a few hours away from launch. More and more news from official sources are coming in before the reveal. Fans received an update yesterday that gave a slight preview of all that is to come today.

Among all that is expected to arrive, fans were long expecting news on the final camos in the game. Camos are an integral part of the weapon grind in every Call of Duty title. Players grind hard and long through different missions to earn different skins for each gun.

The top tier camos currently available in the game are Gold and Platinum. You can acquire a gold camo on any weapon by completing all the missions assigned to it. There are around eight or nine sets of missions for each. Getting the platinum requires a lot more grind. The platinum camo opens after a player unlocks gold for all weapons of a particular genre. Therefore, to get platinum on any of the ARs, all the rifles need to have gold unlocked.

Camos depict the amount of time a player has invested behind the game. The higher the camo tier, more the respect. Camos in CoD do not stop at platinum either. If a player unlocks all the platinum camos for every weapon, they receive another one.

That all changes with this update. With the Anniversary season, CoDM is releasing two brand new camos. One is already in the game, the other is going to release soon.

Call of Duty Mobile Pre-Season Update Introduces Exciting New Feature

The announcement was made in the official Discord server of Call of Duty Mobile.

As it is clear from the picture above, the Damascus camo is now in the game. This is a level above the Platinum camo. Nonetheless, CoDM doesn’t look like they are stopping there. The Diamond camo is coming to the game as well in a future update.

For now, we are not sure exactly what the missions will be to acquire the Diamond camo.
