The options for operator skills in Call of Duty Mobile is increasing every season. CODM added the Katana back in Season 9 and the Equalizer in Season 10. Now for the current season, we have another operator skill for multiplayer.

Popularly known as the Riot Shield, this a heavy-duty shield with a glass panel that players can walk around with and avoid all incoming bullets. CODM calls it the Ballastic Shield; CODM probably has licensing issues, which leads them to change the names of items in the game. That was the reason the Scar-L is called DRH in the game.

Riot Shield comes from the classic Modern Warfare series. One of its first appearances was in the controversial mission ‘No Russian’ from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It became one of the powerful primary weapons in CoD multiplayer. The shield also made its way into Modern Warfare last season. It was easily one of the most difficult things to tackle in a fast-paced respawn match.

In Warzone as well, the Riot Shield can be used to knockdown and kill. While it slows down the player, if correctly utilized, the shield can be game-breaking.

Therefore, as expected, the Ballastic Shield in CODM can also save and kill. It works a bit differently than the console or PC versions, but the functions are the same.

The Ballastic Shield is unbreakable with bullets. There is no chance any kind of bullet will penetrate it, and that makes it kind of broken. Good thing it does not stay for long. Nonetheless, the operator has its own weakness.

The Shield can handle any kind of bullet that hits it, so much so that even a complete drum from the Death Machine emptied on the shield does nothing. Even the Annihilator cannot dent it. Yet, anything that provides a splash damage can destroy it and kill the player.

Technically, to destroy an enemy with a shield, all you need is a sticky grenade. Sparrow, War machine, Purifier and all other splash damage weapons will nullify the shield.
