It is almost that time of the year once again when another blockbuster Call of Duty title is set to launch. Fans absolutely cherished the Black Ops Cold War reveal trailer as it featured two influential characters from the Black Ops series – Alex Mason and Frank Woods. After the success of the reveal trailer, Treyarch has set September 9 as the date for the official multiplayer reveal.
Black Ops Cold War became one of the highly anticipated FPS titles long before its official reveal. For that reason, leaks and speculations have surrounded the game. As fans eagerly await the official multiplayer reveal, some footage of the multiplayer gameplay has managed to surface online. Presumably, the leak isn’t an intentional one, but purely accidental.
Twitch streamer DougisRaw reportedly accidentally went live while playing an alpha build of the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer. The live stream barely lasted seven minutes. Concerned parties took down the gameplay footage promptly. Some prominent members of the Call of Duty community were reportedly invited to play test an alpha build and the Twitch streamer might have gone live unknowingly. A Twitter user posted a screenshot of the brief broadcast.

Other than map and game mode, the HUD, weapons, and a larger mini map than Modern Warfare were also on display. Players can have shotguns as their secondary and five custom and default classes each, as seen in the snippets from the player load-out screen. Both primary and secondary weapons have five attachment slots. Wild cards and scorestreaks are set to make a return, with players able to equip six perks simultaneously.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is still under development, with a beta version of the game reportedly set to arrive in October. Treyarch and Activision have announced a November 13 release date for the game on console and PC.
