“Ferrari happens to be a brand that seems to be in a bit of trouble.”

This was no lame verdict. This is where things appeared to have been going especially at the back of their crushing loss to Mercedes especially where 2016, 2017 and 2018 seasons were concerned.

Ferrari were over”. They were, at least to a vast majority of F1 followers, “finished!” And right then, when everything seems to have gotten wrong for the Scuderia, along comes Charles Leclerc.

And right then came the Bahrain Grand Prix. What did we see? Perhaps it may not be entirely untrue to suggest that for years together whenever someone would remember the 2019 Bahrain Grand Prix, the image of Lewis Hamilton– on top of the podium- applauding Charles Leclerc, in whose hands so utterly seemed the race and its control (before it all went wrong for the Monagesque driver) shall always spring to the mind.

There’s just something so utterly captivating about that poignant moment; a five-time world champion exhibiting chivalry to a bloke possessing future F1 world championship-winning potential.

Isn’t that correct?

But it appears that all’s not well with one of the world’s most iconic racing marquees ever. This, it must not be forgotten, is despite Charles Leclerc indicating top form.

So what’s happened?

Are Ferrari going to actually have a problem at their hands if Charles Leclerc continues to drive the way he is, especially in terms of the 2019 Bahrain Grand Prix? In fact, how would Charles Leclerc be actually a problem for his own team?

In a sport where not every question can have a logical answer, not that all questions seem logical in the first space, finding out expert opinion on things cannot hurt- can it?

After all, F1 can be a bit of a maze. The guy right at the front, someone who is habitual of winning can often appear sagged and exhausted akin to a tired mule.

Nico Rosberg seems to be suggesting that Charles Leclerc’s pace could cause a ‘problem’  for Ferrari. And according to the former world champion, the problem will be directly concerning Sebastian Vettel, rather, it ought to be said at a four-time world championship winner.

But that told, why does Nico Rosberg think so?

“It’s interesting how they manage the team. Especially if Leclerc continues to show such speed and pace, it’s going to be amazing,” Rosberg said at a launch event promoting the upcoming Berlin E-Prix.”

It appears that Rosberg is of the view that should Charles Leclerc continue to out-perform his teammate, easily one of the most experienced names on the grid, there’ll be troubles for Ferrari.

So what are you going to do about it, Sebastian Vettel?
