Team USA is going to be on a mission during the basketball tournament in the 2024 Paris Olympics. After the second-string young squad suffered humiliation during the FIBA World Cup 2023, the veterans are now taking the lead. They have now made sure that they dispose of everything in their arsenal to prove the USA’s unfazed mettle. Therefore, there is no better recruiter than LeBron James, who wants to prove a point despite having multiple gold medals.

Joining him in the quest is Stephen Curry. Therefore, the two appeared rather chummy during the preseason opener between the Warriors and the Lakers. 

Stephen Curry and LeBron James had a lot of fun

As the game concluded, Curry and James were around each other for around a minute. They both were enjoying their time and laughed the entire duration. People wondered what transpired between the two.

As per some sources, apparently, the two phenoms were discussing their chances at the Olympics. There is proof that a giddy James stated to Curry, “You’re gonna need a gold medal”. To which the sharpshooter responded, “Nobody is going to stop us”. Then Curry spotted Anthony Davis coming closer and quipped, “We’re not gonna need him”.

With Curry and LeBron taking the lead, this squad is set to wreak havoc. Devin Booker and Damian Lillard make for an unstoppable shooting squad alongside Curry.

Joel Embiid brings unstoppable offensive flow. Having Davis and adding Bam Adebayo gives tremendous defensive stability. Kevin Durant is an all-purpose scorer and this has to be one of the greatest scoring lineups in NBA history.
