Potentially Killing His Second Chance at Love, Rex Chapman Shows ‘Mercy’ for One Reason

Rex Chapman used to play basketball in college and the NBA. Now he is a social media star and a famous podcaster. The former Charlotte Hornet and Phoenix Suns player’s new book, “It’s Hard for Me to Live with Me,” which he wrote with Seth Davis of CBS Sports, lists all of his highs and lows in detail. In a recent interview with ABC news, he opened up about the title of his new book.
Rex Chapman mentioned, ‘Initially, Seth Davis, who co-wrote the book with me, and Simon & Schuster, I think they were like, mulling over “The King and I” or something. But Seth asked me one day, near the end of the whole process, ‘Do you think you’ll get married again?’ Or, ‘Can you see yourself in a relationship?’
‘I said, ‘I don’t know.’ I said, ‘I don’t think I’ll get married again.’ I said, ‘I wouldn’t want to do that to someone else.’

Looks like he may lose his second chance at love. He went on saying, ‘It’s hard for me to live with me. I’d like to take myself in smaller doses if I could.’ So… I guess they read that and felt like it was poignant.’
