Nash, on his Kliq THIS Podcast, touched up not being there for Sting’s final match despite being very close friends from their WCW days. The WWE legend claimed that people thought Hunter stopped him from being there, which was false. Nash went on to explain that Hunter wouldn’t mind due to the friendship he had with Sting. However, The Icon wanted him to be a part of the match. Nash revealed that his physical limitations prevented him from attending the event. The same applies to Bayley and Naomi, who have years of friendship with Mone. Furthermore, Mone left the WWE due to McMahon, not Hunter, so the two have no animosity between each other.
Moreover, the WWE was also in talks to get Mone back to her Sasha Banks gimmick. However, negotiations fell off because of her not being medically cleared to wrestle. Bayley and Naomi were never seen on the live footage of the show, and photos of them being there were taken by fans who noticed. Naomi herself posted a video of her, Bayley, and Tamina Snuka getting in disguises to appear at Big Business. Before this, the two attended the Super Bowl with Mone.
