The time when John Cena was the face of WWE, he was the idol of every young boy and the first love of every young girl. Recently, those fanboys and fangirls went back down memory lane when the 29-year-old boxing champion opened up about her love for John Cena during childhood.

The boxing star expressed her love for WWE and John Cena

In the latest episode of WWE ‘The Bump’, the Boxing champion Alycia Baumgardner appeared as a special guest. Baumgardner is the current undisputed female super featherweight world champion. She has also set a record of staying undefeated for more than four years. And on top of that, she is a John Cena fan.

During the show, Alycia revealed that she used to wrestle during her childhood and that wrestling was her first love. She also mentioned that she and her sister were huge fans of John Cena and they used to dress up as wrestlers, pretending to be them.

Talking about her love for John Cena and WWE, Alycia Baumgardner said, “I use to actually wrestle… so we have some background there…. That was my first love… that I fell in love with……. We were big WWE fans, obviously, we love John Cena, we love the divas. Me and sisters would dress up and think we were divas wrestling.”

With this statement, Baumgardner attracted the attention of all those 90s kids who grew up watching the 16-time WWE world champion.

Currently, John Cena is away from the squared circle. He was last spotted inside the ring during Money in the Bank PLE. Although he didn’t wrestle officially, he gave fans a glimpse of his in-ring action by delivering his signature move, ‘Attitude Adjustment’ to the WWE superstar Grayson Waller.
