The Undertaker surprised everyone as he rode his way into NXT last week as the American Badass. Even after retirement, The Undertaker continues to enchant the fans. Even though his most recent appearances on WWE TV have been as the biker version of his character, the ‘Deadman’ gimmick remains his most iconic. Recently, in a meet and greet function with the fans, he met a younger version of his legendary on-screen persona.

Just Talk Wrestling posted an adorable clip where The Undertaker met a kid dressed up like him as ‘The Deadman’. The video was uploaded on X on October 18th. The caption for the post read, “The Undertaker meeting a kid dressed as him. So adorable ❤️

Mark Calloway, the man behind the character was dressed up in an all-black attire; a T-shirt, Pants, shoes, and black caps. On the other hand, the kid was dressed up in all-black attire; black pants, black hat, and black overcoat. It was a reminiscence of his popular Deadman gimmick in WWE.

Mark Calloway is often credited for the longevity of his ‘The Undertaker’ gimmick that became a household name in the late 90s and early 2000s. Though the character went through slight changes throughout the three decades of its existence, the black attire with overcoat and hat remained a prominent aspect of the gimmick.

Such is the role of his overcoat and hat that The Undertaker laid down his coat and hat in the ring after his infamous match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33.

He recently came back to the wrestling ring after getting inducted into the Hall of Fame last year before WrestleMania 38. His unannounced return last week made headlines again as WWE won the Tuesday Night War against AEW.

The Undertaker appears at NXT to close the show

As Bron Breakker speared Carmelo Hayes after the main event, he proclaimed he was the biggest badass on the WWE roster. Just then, The Undertaker appeared with his bike and American Badass persona. He then chokeslammed Breakker and raised Hayes’ hand to close the show.
