Rhodes believes that it was the best possible ‘goodbye’ to the promotion and its fans. Although it has been a long time since he abandoned his EVP post at AEW, he still remembers the best parts of the experience.

More recent incidents tell us that Rhodes doesn’t mind keeping himself and his fans grounded about the fact that he served a good time in AEW. Recently, the wrestler posted on social media when he reunited with a friend from Tony Khan’s promotion.

Brodie Lee joined AEW in 2020, but unfortunately the same year, the world lost the wrestling gem. Because of the bond that Lee and Rhodes shared, the wrestler was there for his family when they needed the most emotional support. Even after Rhodes left AEW, he didn’t shy away from telling the world that he was still in touch with the late wrestler’s family.

Lee Jr. also known as ‘Negative one’ was there to witness “The American Nightmare” at WrestleMania 39 during the main event. And quite recently, Rhodes met up with Will Hobbs to celebrate the birthday of the late wrestler’s son.
