Randy Orton has come back to WWE after 18 months of hiatus after a serious back injury. Hogan’s last WWE bout was against Orton, and since then, Orton has become a legend. Hogan’s willingness to embrace a new challenge against Orton is the new talk of the town.

Hogan vs. Orton 2: A matchup in the making?
Hulk Hogan recently praised Randy Orton’s evolution since their 2006 WWE SummerSlam clash. He called Orton a legend in a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated.

He said, “If I wasn’t all beat to hell, I’d love to get in the ring with Randy,” said Hogan. “We could still tear it down in the main event. Randy could call it in the ring, and he could adjust to my style to make sure it worked perfectly. He’s just so good. He can work with veterans and the newer guys, too. He knows how to pivot both ways in the ring.” Despite Hogan’s retirement, he believes he and Orton could headline a main event if he were still active.
Orton, returning after two and a half years, has now targeted Roman Reigns and the WWE Universal Title, expressing a commitment to wrestling akin to legends from Hogan’s era.
