Retirement is a myth in professional wrestling. We have seen a handful of superstars getting back to the promotion after officially announcing their desire to hang up the boots. We perhaps are on the verge of getting another former superstar back into the squared circle real soon. The star in question is none other than former ECW legend Sabu.
Considering his recent physical condition, most fans would believe he is no more able to take big bumps like before. But the legend has high hopes. He recently countered a fan on Twitter, who almost ruled out the possibility of his return.

Despite not stepping into the ring, the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal star made an appearance on AEW Dynamite this week and is all set to be the enforcer during the upcoming Adam Cole vs. Chris Jericho match at Double or Nothing. But it doesn’t seem to stop there, as the legend himself hinted at more.
A fan on Twitter reflected on his opinion about Sabu’s return speculation. He wrote, ”Sabu can’t wrestle anymore because his back is too messed up. The last time he did, he really regretted it. He can do run-ins and throw chairs at people, but there’s no way he can take big bumps anymore.”

It didn’t go unnoticed by the 58-year-old wrestler who gently opposed the message by retweeting the post. The legend made it crystal clear that everything can be possible with a big check and it’s not the ideal time to count him out from the picture.
Shittttt .if the price is right ..dont count me out yet..🧞♀️🐪 https://t.co/dUDtXtc5ju

However, after Sabu reacted to the message, the fan who posted it mentioned in the comment that he only wrote this on the basis of his previous interview of Sabu.
2 Months After Getting Hospitalized, 58-Year-Old WWE Legend Makes Shocking AEW Debut, Fans Go Wild: “I Was in Shock When I Heard the Name”
That made sense because the star has been quite open about his back injury, which works as a barrier to his wrestling career. In addition to it, he also suffered a severe health scare months ago.
Sabu recently underwent a serious medical condition
Last month, the wrestler failed to appear at the remainder of an expo. It was later reported that the star had to be taken to hospital after falling ill on the show floor.
”ATTN: Due to having a serious medical emergency while on the show floor, Sabu will not be appearing for the remainder of the Expo. He is currently en route to a local medical facility,” the expo updated its guests via a Facebook status.
However, a few hours later, Sabu came up with a relaxing update, assuring his fans of his improved health.

It’s still unclear what exactly happened to Sabu. But given that the wrestler is in stable health right now, we need to see if Tony Khan or any other promoter will be ready to offer him his preferred deal or not.
