Should you tell someone if they have bad breath? Well, according to Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, you should. But be as gentle and sincere as possible.  In In an interview with LADbible the two Oppenheimer actors recently sat down to play a game of agree to disagree.

While playing, one thing led to another, and Damon discussed Scarlett Johansson‘s bad breath, which sort of offended Blunt. Blunt, who is a huge fan of Dwayne Johnson‘s fresh breath, defended Johannson as Damon made fun of his We Bought a Zoo movie co-star.

During the interview, Damon mentioned the time when he kissed Johansson while filming a movie. Normally, the Avengers actress has a fresh breath that smells like roses – like Damon mentions later in the interview. But one time when they had to film a kissing scene, she had an onion sandwich before, which made her breath smell very pungent. However, during one instance, the Avengers star consumed an onion sandwich before a shot which made her breath smell pungent.

He said, “What happened was we did a shot before lunch and it was like this nice little two-shot that ended in the kiss and it was really good and we went to lunch and she and I both thought it was over. She ate like an onion sandwich.”

“And she came in and [the] camera and crew had set up the camera and it was like a tight shot of the kiss and she goes, ‘Oh sh*t, I literally just had an onion sandwich.’ That’s how we did it,” he added. As he was detailing the incident, Blunt pretended to get offended by Damon making fun of Johansson as a joke.

Blunt is herself an advocate of fresh breath. Moreover, that is why she admires Dwayne Johnson and credited him in 2021 for his excellent oral hygeine.

Blunt shared the silver screen with ‘The Great One’ for the movie Jungle Cruise. The conclusion of the fun adventure movie features a kiss between the two stars. During an interview with E! News’ Daily Pop correspondent Victor Cruz at the Jungle Cruise premiere on July 25, 2021, Blunt revealed what Johnson’s breath smells like.
