While McIntyre has kept a rather stoic or aggressive demeanour during his solo run after the Championship title, who knew the Scotsman had a good sense of humour? He debuted some new hilarious merch during his segment with Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

Taking off his jacket, he showed off his new T-shirt that he had commissioned by the WWE. The black T-shirt showed McIntyre standing before a grave that read, “CM Punk’s WrestleMania Main Event 2024-2024.” This was in reference to Punk’s injury that McIntyre worsened during their last encounter that shelved Punk. This injury setback also won’t allow the former AEW star to perform at WrestleMania, which is a big blow to his dreams of maineventing the marquee PLE.

All these actions hint at the WWE posing McIntyre losing his grip on reality. Since his loss at Crown Jewel, McIntyre has displayed more aggressive and psychotic behaviour. From attacking co-workers to issuing challenges and believing he is the saviour, McIntyre is clearly not taking the loss of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship well.

Drew McIntyre attacks Cody Rhodes at the end of the show

As mentioned earlier, McIntyre has been attacking people on RAW. Last week, during his confrontation with CM Punk, he attacked his injured Tricep. Sami Zayn had to come to Punk’s rescue to prevent major damage.

This episode saw him attacking Rollins during the opening segment. However, he was stopped in time by Rhodes. During the opening monologue, McIntyre made it clear that Rhodes was also on his list. McIntyre believed that with the victory at the men’s Royal Rumble, Rhodes would aim for Reigns, however, with Rhodes now after the WWE World Heavyweight title, McIntyre feels betrayed. After Rhodes won against Shinsuke Nakamura in the Bullrope match, McIntyre attacked Rhodes and laid him out with a Claymore. What do you think of the new merch? Tell us down below.

My passion for professional wrestling began when I saw Kane ripping the Hell in a Cell door off in the iconic 1997 match. I used to enjoy watching WWE re-runs at 5 in the evening when I got home from school. It was sort of a ritual for me.
