It has now been proven that Daniel Ricciardo should just stick to Formula One. Recently on Instagram, cricketer Marcus Stoinis posted a video of himself and his good friend Ricciardo playing cricket.

However, a certain incident occurred while Ricciardo was batting. The Australian driver attempted a cover drive but suddenly fell to the group clutching his ankle, shouting obscenities.

As it turned out, he hit his ankle with the bat and therefore fell onto the garage floor in agony and swearing several times.

Stoinis, currently preparing for Australia’s second one-day international against India in Adelaide, might need to pass on some batting tips to his close mate and fellow West Aussie.

“He can drive a car, but he can’t drive a cricket ball,” Stoinis wrote.

Meanwhile in the background, some women were laughing their heads off at the frankly hilarious scene.

Both Stoinis and Ricciardo are very good friends and often hang out together when in their native Perth.
