With the season-opening Australian GP just around the corner, the hype is slowly building to a crescendo. Fans have already begun to flock in as the tickets begin to sell like hot cakes to watch local man, Daniel Ricciardo. A little while ago, Australian fans were asked who they would be cheering for in Sunday’s race.

Naturally, many would opt for their local hero, Ricciardo, who will be racing for Renault this year. A young Australian boy attempted to say Daniel Ricciardo’s name, but somehow it came out wrong. Instead, it sounded like Daniel Avocado.

Ricciardo himself caught wind of this and he absolutely loved it.

As expected, Twitter went into a frenzy as people reacted to the adorable moment. Some fans also decided to throw in a few jokes.
