The new Creative Mode allows players to create their own maps using Unreal Engine 5.1, which means they can utilize the most up-to-date game design tool to create high-quality custom maps. Fans created many intriguing maps, but a few of them piqued the interest of Call of Duty creators Activision.

No more Call of Duty maps from Fortnite Creative 2.0

Fortnite Creative 2.0 let fans explore their creativity to come up with exciting-looking maps. Some of the most intriguing maps were based on the famous FPS game series Call of Duty. even the famous streamer CourageJD shared playing on a Call of Duty-themed map in Fortnite Creative 2.0.

However, Fortnite fans could enjoy those Call of Duty maps till now, as they caught the attention of Activision. The renowned eSports journalist Jake Lucky shared on his Twitter that the Call of Duty creators are taking down maps based on their games for copyright infringement.
