GTA V is one of the most trending games of the modern era. It caters to thousands of fans across the globe, keeping them glued to their screens. Despite spending over nine years in the market, it still averages 100,000 daily, a massive viewership milestone for small-time developers.

However, that does not mean the game didn’t have its set of issues, as it fell prey to them multiple times. With the main one concerned with a demand for a new title, the others stretched with bugs, errors, stagnant updates, and a lot more. Still, Rockstar found its way out and kept churning steady revenue from the game.

But now, rumors have swirled on the internet claiming Rockstar to add multiple updates to GTA V PC. Apparently, the company has lashed over a bizarre patch update that takes out a massive portion of the ‘anti-cheat system,’ allowing users to get easy access to limited stuff.

Fresh Rumors hint at a massive ‘anti-cheat’ update for GTA V PC

In the past few years, AAA companies have fallen prey to cheaters as they have ruined fan-loved titles. Despite introducing multiple updates for the same, they somehow managed to break the code and violate the game. So, tech giants got their heads together to somehow manage them to a level, and continue with the smooth process of the games.

Interestingly, that has had a major effect on the numbers, with lesser complaints from fans. To give examples, Call Of Duty Warzone players come across tremendous hackers/users that ruin the game. They add cheats and hacks to get an unnecessary advantage over their opponents.

But while Activision has fallen prey to this recently, Rockstar has had its taste for years. Back in time, games like GTA Vice City and San Andreas had a massive cheat list that allowed players to get easy access to pricey items.

And now, with GTA V, things haven’t changed much. However, there seems to be a catch as a data miner has claimed that Rockstar played a part in a ‘bizarre patch update’ allowing players to cheat in-game.

On October 27, Twitter user Tez2 uploaded a tweet talking about this. Here’s what he said, “In an odd move, the latest #GTAV PC patch removes essential components of the anti-cheat system. Resulting in the removal of approximately 95% of the anti-cheat system.”

While Rockstar is yet to comment on this, the rumor still stands active. After all, fans are fed up with the franchise over GTA VI, and after this rumor, there’s a high possibility of unwanted controversy.
