Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the famous Nintendo games in the present times. It became the second most-sold game for the Switch console. However, only Nintendo fans can enjoy this game and others from the Animal Crossing series, as it is a Nintendo exclusive, available only on consoles developed by the Japanese giants.
But Nintendo sometimes does come up with games for other platforms. They have developed two mobile phone games for fan-favorite Pokemon series, Pokemon GO and Elite. The Japanese Giants also released a mobile game for the Animal Crossing series, Pocket Camp. However, this game can lead to gambling addiction and spending real-life money.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons YouTuber Liss the Lass uploaded a video, “Is Pocked Camp actually good….” She tried playing the 2017 social simulation mobile game and honestly reviewed it. The Animal Crossing YouTuber was not very thrilled to play Pocket Camp, as she claimed to be not a massive fan of mobile gaming.

Further, the game features a gacha system to sell items, which can lead to gambling addiction. Fans might spend real-life money on their required item from the gacha. Lizzy said, “I think it tries really hard to get you to spend money in a way that I just don’t like it. So while it plays like an Animal Crossing game, I feel like the charm kind of gets sucked out with how much they’re pushing Leaf tickets in your face.”
Stay cautious while playing games that requires one to spend money
Undoubtedly, gambling addiction via video games has increased in the last few years. Children are easily getting sucked into such offers from games like these. Even New Horizons streamer Lizzy said, “That was like scary easy to buy these Leaf tickets. Oh my God, watch out for your children.”
