We've identified an issue with a database shard which we believe has been contributing to the recent progression issues for PlayStation players. We will be migrating players off this shard which may result in disconnects.

The fix involves migrating players off this faulty chunk of the database and it may lead to server disconnects. However, the good news is that affected users will have all their progress and data restored to a previous backup.
“For players whose data was on the affected database shard, we will be restoring their progress to a backup from April 5 at 18:00 UTC.”

A few hours later, Respawn notified they have completed the data transfer and progress recovery. Although affected players might notice a few lingering visual issues such as levels on banner trackers showing incorrectly, everything should be back to normal after they complete one match.
It is currently unclear if this fix will also resolve the issue with the deleted skins and heirlooms. We will keep you updated when we have more information on the same.
