Call of Duty Embraces Hilarious Oscar Piastri F1 Trend With a Major Modern Warfare II Reveal

Call of Duty fans might have to wait a little longer for the latest addition, Modern Warfare II’s release. But before the official release, fans will have access to the beta. Further, the developers have dropped a multiplayer map reveal from the game and it is a surprise for F1 fans.
Call of Duty is undoubtedly one of the world’s most famous first-person shooter games. Nearly all CoD title has been a colossal hit apart from their 2021 title Vanguard. So, the fans have more hopes for the upcoming title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

Modern Warfare II will be the 19th installment in the series and the second installment in the rebooted Modern Warfare series. The game will release on October 28, 2022. However, fans can enjoy the game with beta access from September 16 to 26.
Call of Duty reveals a new MWII map with an F1 reference
The Call of Duty games were not only famous for the single-player campaign but also for their thrilling multiplayer modes. The compelling map designs were the main reasons for those successful multiplayer modes. Fans can expect such unique maps from the upcoming installment.

Recently, the developers announced that the upcoming game’s 6v6 multiplayer mode would feature an F1 Grand Prix circuit. The race course featured in the game is a real-life circuit in Singapore, the Marina Bay circuit that hosts the Singapore GP. In the game, this map would be called Marina Bay Grand Prix.
Further, the developers announced the map using a reference from the ongoing conflict between real-life F1 team Alpine and young driver Oscar Piastri. The CoD announcement read, “We understand that, with our agreement, Infinity Ward have announced they designed a Grand Prix map as a part of the MWII Beta. This is right, and the map will be playable for the 2022 Beta. We will be playing on Grand Prix in MWII this year.”
