As reported by the scooper on WhatIfGaming, a key art for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s Season 2 has been reportedly revealed. Going by the leaked images (they are in good quality surprisingly), Season 2 of MWII and Warzone 2, combined, will seemingly take influence from the old titles in the series.

That means the famous ‘Castle’ map from CoD World At War might make a comeback, after Season 1 is fully done. Interestingly, the Castle map was also featured in last year’s Vanguard by Sledgehammer Games.

Moreover, the art for Season 2 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II also reveals a new operator. Basically, it’s an old character coming back, who is none other than Warcom operator Ronin. He was introduced in 2019’s MW from Infinity Ward. One can have a look at the leaked pictures on the WhatIfGaming website itself.

All things considered, it can be interpreted (based on the leaked images) that Season 2 will be Japan-themed. However, it’s shocking that while the first season is yet to get finished until February 2023, we already know what to expect from its successor.
