“Will Never Be the Same as It Once Was” – Call of Duty Legend Has Bitter Feelings for Warzone 2 Following a Major Update

Since its global debut, Activision’s Modern Warfare II, the newest Call of Duty offering, has gone through a rollercoaster ride. Yes, it has broken sales milestones, but there have been tons of issues as well. Not to mention that a lot of players have been very vocal about the overall experience they have had so far. Especially when it comes to the Multiplayer modes in general. But now, same is the case with Warzone 2 as well, after a recent update in Season 2.
The change in the approach by devs has resulted in a deterioration of quality battle royale experience fans used to get previously in Warzone. As a result, many renowned CoD players have also recently expressed frustration towards the franchise. Popular gaming YouTuber Spratt is also not very happy with the series and how it’s handling different elements.

In case someone missed keeping track of events, Spratt has already left playing Multiplayer in MWII. Last month, he had revealed his opinions about how the franchise has nothing left to offer in MP modes. For a change, he decided to explore the battle royale side of this series with Warzone 2. But now it looks like it’s also not giving him a good time.

Call of Duty pro Spratt recently shared a video, few days ago, in which he shared his thoughts on Warzone 2, especially following a major update for weapons. The latter ended up nerfing down some of the popular weapons, including sniper rifles. Spratt loves sniping and he wasn’t impressed by how the devs reduced the power of sniper rifles in the game.

Talking about the situation in the video, the reputed YouTuber mentioned that from now on, players won’t be able to have great headshots with the sniper rifles. The reduction of damage for this class is not okay at all, according to him. “Sniping will never be the same as it once was”, he said while playing a match of Warzone 2 where he was trying to take long range headshots.
The devs will need to address the ongoing situation regarding the decreased impact of weapons sooner than later. If players don’t like something, it’s always best to give them what they really want. Otherwise, it won’t be good for the entire franchise itself.
