According to the YouTuber, Phillip Graves is very much alive in the story of Modern Warfare II. He has got some proof as well to solidify this theory. Firstly, the character was never shown to be inside the tank in which he was supposed to be. In fact, he wasn’t shown to be dead after the tank exploded.

That was quite weird to see given the fact that Graves was someone who betrayed Task Force 141. So how could he not have a final scene with the team’s members before dying? Moreover, InkSlasher also mentioned an Instagram post by the actor who portrayed Graves himself in the game. Have a look at it below:

In case someone missed keeping track of events, the post is from last month. Actor Warren Kole shared the picture of Graves while also mentioning that if fans want more of the character, he’ll see what he can do. Now that’s nothing less than a confirmation that Commander Phillip is not dead in Modern Warfare II – at least not yet.

One last proof of his existence, mentioned by InkSlasher, is the blog from the developers before the release of Season 2. There was a pre-season blog published by Call of Duty, giving early details for the Resurgence mode’s Ashika Island. One line in the blog mentioned that there was a presence of Shadow Company on the island map.
