Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, since its awaited debut last year, has introduced numerous gameplay features for the fans. And now, the devs are going to make another addition with an upcoming feature. It’s set to be revealed in the yet-to-release Season 2 Reloaded.

Without a doubt, this feature will prove to be crucial for the Multiplayer as well as the battle royale experience. That’s according to what the makers mentioned a week before the arrival of the mid-season update. Its main objective will be to help players form parties with friends and other individuals too.

Speaking about how it works, then Party Queuing basically enables a player to “automatically join a friend’s party once they are finished with their active match. Just like inviting friends to a party or channel, you can access party queuing via the in-game social menu.” After selecting the option to party queue, players will need to wait in the hanger bay pre-match lobby. When the other person is finished with their match, then the waiting player will automatically join their lobby for the next match.

While queuing, Call of Duty players can also use the text and voice chat options to communicate with those busy in another match. One thing that needs to be noticed is that party queuing can “cause the current squad to be ineligible to re-que for a playlist if their new party size exceeds the match’s maximum party count”.

In such cases, players will need to switch to a mode that can accommodate the new party size. Or else, they will have to figure out how to get back to the game mode party size limit. Activision’s Modern Warfare II is now available worldwide. It will receive its mid-season update on March 15, 2023, for all the supported platforms.
