The shot was so iconic that it defined the career that Michael Jordan was going to have in the next years. With his extended stay in the air and a delayed throw in the basket, “The Shot” almost looked inanimate. But even after so many years, fans still remember the day like yesterday.

And so NBA 2k23 has found a way to bring back fans of those iconic Michael Jordan matches. Through a series of challenges in the game, players can revisit those line-ups and play them exactly as the original match played out.
As Erick Boenisch, VP of NBA development at 2K and Visual Concepts said, “The Jordan Challenge is an immersive experience unlike anything NBA 2K fans have seen, completely rebuilding the challenges from 2K11 and adding five new moments.”
How did fans react to the news?
Fans after seeing the recreation of the iconic shot became hyped and started flooding the comments. Some fans were really happy to see such an overhauled graphical gameplay from an NBA game.

Although most fans were happy with the game, some pointed out little tweaks that can help make the game more realistic than it already is. For example, some said that the net was too stiff while some pointed out that the far crowd can be more realistic.
That net is stiff as hell https://t.co/EoJzBrbmKn
